There and Back Again

Back again! I spent eighteen wonderful months serving a mission for my church in Thailand, thus the long, loooong radio silence. Getting back into school and art has been an adventure, and it is high time this blog got going again.

To celebrate, here's something I've been working on for, well, work. Illustrating textbooks is way more exciting than I thought possible.

Points to anyone who can guess who these two (mostly unrelated) historical figures are.

Timid Lowlands Giragon

The Timid Lowlands Giragon's long neck allows it to eat the leaves off the tops of tall trees and pesky knights of off battlements.



Giraffe plus dragon is pretty much the greatest combination of animals I could come up with. This is mostly just me messing around in illustrator for a change.

Trippin'

I'll be heading out to California for the week for BYU's illustration field trip. Disney, Dreamworks, Blizzard, a host of studios, and Sony Entertainment ahoy! Pictures, sketches, and exciting tales forthcoming!
